NOC (Network Operations Center) Analyst

The NOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the organization's and/or client’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Job Description:

Monitor network systems, servers, and applications using NOC tools and dashboards
Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime
Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams
Perform triage to assess severity and impact of incidents.
Escalate issues to appropriate teams (e.g., network engineers, system admins) based on predefined protocols
Maintain detailed incident logs and documentation for all events and resolutions
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve network issues
Conduct routine health checks and performance analysis of network components
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning exercises
Provide shift handover reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements:

Minimum at Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1–3 years of experience in network monitoring or IT support roles
Familiarity with NOC tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP)
Familiarity with ticketing tools e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, etc is a PLUS.
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including weekends and holidays
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
